In a shoe daze...

So I had these shoes...I loved them, zebra striped high pumps, spunky and fun.  However they rarely made an appearance each year to the public.  Recently I had to downsize.  (...like from an apartment to half a room downsize....)  And I could no longer hold onto them.

I hope some lucky thrift store shopper has found them and fallen in love.

But I do keep this picture as I just like to look at them...call me shoe crazy.  Anyone else have shoes they love to look at?

For today I am imagining what I would wear if I had hung onto them.  Sigh....shoe dazing...

What is your flip flop style?

So, I have this love for flip flops.   I live in New England and the weather doesn't always agree with this foot wear year round.  But I try to push the limit and get away with the foot wear as long as I can.  Nothing like flip flops and a sweatshirt! This is one of the many reasons why I love vacations to the Caribbean and the time I lived in San Diego.  Flip flops in the middle of winter, yes please!  What is your favorite style below?

So, I have this dress I wore to a friend's wedding.  I found it deeply discounted in the clearance rack at Kohl's!  It is stretchy and flows.  To top it off, it is just the right material for traveling and not ending up a wrinkled mess.  (Seriously, this dress went in my small carry-on item from Boston to San Francisco, and I did not pull out the iron in my hotel room.) The problem is, I haven't worn it since. See, I paired it with Black Pumps and a White Necklace .  (Ok, this necklace link is a little different, but the same idea of the one I bought over a year ago.) While these make for a more classic wedding guest look, the shoes will not work for every time I could possibly wear this versatile piece. So I am thinking a pop of color in flat or a wedge with a complimentary handbag or clutch.  Maybe for a summer afternoon of shopping or dinner out with my girls?
